Salary: A competitive salary from 42,480 - 63,720 depending on the experience you can bring

We have a new opportunity available for a Money Processing and Reporting (MPR) Team Manager to join our team on a Fixed Term basis. In this role you will focus on key delivery and contribution to the department's Money processing and tax reporting deliverables, ensuring the team's compliance and adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements. You will maintain management and oversight responsibility for the MPR team to ensure the relevant functions of that team and the wider department are carried out in adherence to client service level agreements and Aegon's internally documented control framework.
Key Responsibilities include:Ensure the team's adherence to payment processing deadlines and quality control
Oversee our regulatory tax reporting across a suite of different regulatory returns
Perform oversight and compliance activity relating to the work of the team covered by the Client Money Regulations (CASS Rules)
Assist and complete work relating to Internal Audits and any Compliance Monitoring queries, while also working with external Audit partners to ensure delivery of Aegon's statutory and CASS audits.
Oversee the preparation of platform tax reporting data and ensure successful delivery to HMRC.
Ensure all controls are operating effectively and evidence retained to mitigate exposures and that all processes adhere to SOX principles. Highlight areas of weakness and act where appropriate.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:Strong people management skills, with a track record of managing teams
Can demonstrate a track record of being adaptable and responsible to changing priorities.
Knowledge of Client Money Assets Sourcebook (CASS) rules and regulations.
Knowledge of the banking industry and in particular payment practices.
Basic PAYE and tax reporting knowledge desirable, but not essential.
Strong oral & written communication, which is clear, tailored and suited to audience.
