As an MPV Train Driver based at our Horsham Depot, you'll be a key part of our Rail Plant team, helping to deliver innovative solutions that keep the network moving.

About the Role

As an MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) Driver, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of essential equipment to the Network Rail infrastructure. This is a key position within our Multi-Purpose Vehicle & Module Operation unit, offering the opportunity to work on critical shifts and contribute to the success of major contracts.
What you'll be doing


Key Responsibilities

Safely operate and control a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV)
Transport and deliver equipment to support operational delivery on the rail network
Perform minor maintenance and repairs on the MPV
Collaborate with a small, dedicated team on high-profile projects
Work flexibly to accommodate a roster that includes nights, weekends, bank holidays, and short-notice changes


Who we're looking for


What We're Looking For

Qualified train driver with a strong safety record
Solid understanding of railway health and safety standards, especially in train operations
Holder of a valid Sentinel Card
Up-to-date route knowledge and familiarity with the rail infrastructure
Understanding of core asset modules
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Customer-focused with a professional attitude
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
