We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Surveyor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting spatial data, and supporting construction projects through precise measurements and data management. Duties
Conduct land surveys using specialised equipment to determine precise measurements of land parcels and construction sites.
Prepare detailed survey reports and maps using AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and other CAD software.
Manage spatial data efficiently, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all documentation.
Support construction teams by providing survey data necessary for planning and execution phases.
Assist in the development of topographical maps, boundary delineations, and site layouts.
Maintain calibration and proper functioning of surveying instruments; perform routine equipment checks.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure survey specifications are met.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all surveying activities.
Qualifications
MRICS qualifed, Proven experience in home surveying or related fieldwork.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and CAD software for mapping and data visualisation.
Strong understanding of land surveying principles, techniques, and legal boundaries.
Experience with data management systems to organise survey information effectively.
Knowledge of construction processes and how survey data integrates into project workflows.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure high accuracy in measurements and documentation.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various outdoor environments.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in land surveying or geomatics are desirable but not essential.
