We are looking for a Gas Turbine Engineer who will play a central role in defining the specifications for turbine maintenance, repair and overhaul, ensuring assets achieve the highest standards of performance, reliability and compliance. You'll be part of a highly skilled engineering community that thrives on solving complex challenges, driving continuous improvement, and developing innovative repair solutions.
What you'll be doing:
Setting technical specifications for the overhaul, inspection, and repair of aero-derivative gas turbines
Overseeing disassembly, inspection and reassembly activities, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, tolerances and standards
Leading troubleshooting and diagnostic investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Driving continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
Collaborating with cross-functional teams including design engineers, OEMs, supply chain, and operations to deliver seamless project execution
What you bring:
Strong technical expertise in gas turbines and rotating equipment, with practical experience of MRO environments
Proven track record in repair schemes, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
Knowledge of RB211 and/or Avon products (desirable but not essential)
Experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
The ability to interpret data from sensors and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults
A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience (preferred)
A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
