What You'll Do
Technical Delivery
Install, configure, and commission IT, UC, and network infrastructure at client sites.
Diagnose and repair faults, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure all work meets company and vendor standards.
Conduct site surveys, document findings, and provide detailed feedback for planning and improvement.
Support client relocations, upgrades, and change requests.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the Service Desk and Project Teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Escalate incidents or risks promptly and clearly when additional support is required.
Provide user handovers or basic training where appropriate.
Operational Excellence
Maintain accurate records, job sheets, and asset documentation.
Ensure compliance with technical standards, health and safety guidelines, and Croft's operational processes.
Manage tools, test equipment, and vehicle stock to ensure readiness for service.
What We're Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
Proven field-based experience in IT, UC, or network engineering.
Strong understanding of IT hardware installation (servers, switches, routers, endpoints).
Working knowledge of structured cabling, patching, and cable testing.
Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and basic network troubleshooting.
Understanding of IP networking, VLANs, wireless deployments, and VoIP/UC platforms.
Education & Certifications
Relevant technical qualification (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or equivalent).
Vendor/manufacturer certifications advantageous.
Full UK driving licence required.
Personal Attributes

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Adaptable to varied environments and technologies.
Organised with excellent time management.
Willing to travel extensively and work flexibly when required.
