We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to clients. This role requires understanding of driving regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate efficiently. The ideal applicant will have previous delivery driver experience.
Duties
Safely operate company vehicles, to deliver goods to designated locations.
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Load and unload items with care, ensuring products are secured properly during transit.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery communicate effectively with the team.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations during driving and loading activities.
Skills
Proven experience in driving and delivery roles.
Strong driving skills with a valid driver's licence.
DBS Check dated within 3 months
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo safely and efficiently. This position offers an engaging opportunity for a dedicated driver with a focus on safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service.
