Join our team as a MARAC Coordinator and play a vital role in protecting some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
If you're looking for a meaningful new challenge, one that will grow your skills and broaden your perspective, this could be the perfect opportunity.
In this role, you'll help ensure the safety of the public by coordinating multi-agency responses to support high-risk victims and survivors of domestic abuse.
As a MARAC Coordinator, you will be responsible for organising and supporting all Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC), ensuring they run smoothly and effectively. You will play a key role in promoting safety, accountability, and clear communication between all partner agencies. Your duties will include reviewing cases in advance of meetings, coordinating agendas, accurately recording minutes and actions, and ensuring timely follow-up to support victim safeguarding and risk management.
You will need to demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, using your initiative to manage tasks with minimal supervision. Good organisational and time management skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritise a varied workload effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as the role involves regular contact with internal colleagues and external partner agencies. You'll also need to show sensitivity, discretion, and sound judgement in handling confidential and sometimes complex information.
