We are seeking a reliable and efficient Courier Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely delivery of packages and documents, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered to the correct locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking information and delivery confirmations.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.
Skills
Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential but not required as training is offered .
A valid driver's licence is required for this position.
Experience in commercial driving is advantageous.
Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during deliveries up to 30kg .
