We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, to deliver goods to clients and customers. Plan routes effectively to optimise delivery times and fuel efficiency. Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring items are secure during transit. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery. Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere strictly to traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies throughout all deliveries.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience with commercial driving vehicles such as vans or lorries. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, demonstrating physical fitness. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members. Organised with excellent time management skills to meet tight schedules. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. This position is suitable for individuals committed to delivering excellent service while maintaining safety standards on the road.
