Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service. Duties

Safely operate company vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit. Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times or any unforeseen delays. Assist with warehouse tasks when required. Perform heavy lifting when necessary, including moving large or bulky items safely. Maintain accurate delivery documentation following strict procedures. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as training is provided. Valid full driver's licence with a clean driving record and up to 6 points. Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with colleagues and customers. Strong organisational skills for route planning and time management. Ability to work independently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or routes as needed.
