Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and collecting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent driving skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of service. This role will entail approx 20 stops per working day, this will be a set route that will be serviced daily.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries. Communicate with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations is advantageous. A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
