Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team.

Delivery days are Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to 50-60 private customers in each area, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle lifting. If you have experience in commercial driving or as a van driver, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured for transport. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Navigate efficiently to various delivery locations, optimising routes for timely arrivals. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages.

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the day. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and customers. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
