Multi Drop Delivery Driver
Job Description
Multi Drop delivery driver required for butchers/bakers, delivering throughout the Yorkshire region (mainly South & West Yorkshire)
Duties include loading vehicles with prepared food orders and delivering to various customers throughout the region. Additionally drivers will be responsible for cash handling & the cleanliness of their vehicle, checking oil etc. Typical vehicle size is MWB Nissan NV400.
APPLICANTS MUST BE CLEAN AND RELIABLE AND HAVE A FRIENDLY, ENTHUSIASTIC APPROACH.
WITH A FLEXIBLE APPROACH TO WORK, THEY MUST ALSO DEMONSTRATE GOOD DRIVING COMPETENCE AND SHOW INITIATIVE AND SELF- ORGANISATIONAL SKILLS. (preference will be given to applicants with a clean driving licence, and for insurance purposes a maximum of 3 points for minor offences may be considered. Driving licence checks will be carried out)
HOURS OF WORK-
Approx 10-12 hours per week (Mon & Wed) plus extra hours/ cover for holidays as required.
Hours of work will vary each day according to number of deliveries required, with a start time ranging from 7.30 am - 8am .
HOURS MAY VARY SLIGHTLY AS DRIVERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ALTERNATIVE OR ADDITIONAL SHIFTS TO ACCOMMODATE CUSTOMER ORDERS & COVER FOR OTHER DRIVERS AS NECESSARY.
