Job Description

This is a self employed position, giving full autonomy and flexibility over your chosen working days. You will be responsible for loading your van in the staging area of the delivery station and spend your day delivering parcels to both individuals and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Package Delivery

: Safely and efficiently deliver packages to customers' homes and businesses in South East London and Kent.

Route Navigation

: Follow delivery routes using GPS and company-provided mobile devices to ensure timely deliveries.

Customer Service

: Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude with customers at all times.

Vehicle Maintenance

: Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the delivery van.

Safety Adherence

: Follow all safety protocols and driving regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others (MUST BE COMFORTABLE DRIVING 3.5 TONNE VAN)

Problem-Solving

: Address and resolve delivery issues, such as incorrect addresses or damaged packages, promptly and efficiently.

What are we looking for:

Age requirement:

Minimum age 18+

Valid Driver's License

: Must hold a valid UK driver's license for more than

1 year with no more than 6 points

Experience:

Must have

delivery driving

experience and be comfortable driving 3.5 tonne vans, i.e. DPD, Evri, Royal Mail etc...

Physical Fitness

: Ability to lift and carry packages up to 23 kg and handle a physically demanding job, including entering and exiting the delivery vehicle multiple times a day.

Time Management

: Excellent time management skills are essential with the ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule.

Punctuality and Reliability

: Must be punctual and reliable.

Communication Skills

: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Customer Focused

: A customer-centric attitude with a commitment to providing a positive delivery experience.

Pay: 130.00-140.00 per day

Expected hours: 9 - 54 per week
