Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to manage heavy lifting while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations efficiently and safely. Woking a 10 hour shift (6am to 5pm) Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload goods, engaging in heavy lifting as required, while maintaining proper lifting techniques. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, quantities, and any discrepancies. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during deliveries.

Qualifications

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with customers. Capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely.
