We are seeking a reliable and professional Van Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company Vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures. Confirm delivery details with customers upon arrival, providing excellent customer service. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance needs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure roadworthiness. Communicate effectively with the dispatch team regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver . Valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle type, including a clean driving record. Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy loads is advantageous. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and prolonged periods of driving or standing. Organised with good time management skills to meet tight schedules. Knowledge of local roads and navigation tools is preferred but not essential. This position offers an engaging work environment where safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction are priorities.
