We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities. Responsibilities

Operate a van to transport goods to various locations, ensuring timely delivery. Load and unload items, performing heavy lifting as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in warehouse duties when not on the road, including inventory management and organisation.

Skills

Proven experience as a Van Driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience. Strong communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. Familiarity with delivery routes and logistics is an advantage. A valid driving licence appropriate for operating a van. Excellent organisational skills to manage time efficiently and meet delivery deadlines.
1 mon-Fri - Odd weekends needed
