Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our valued customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience in commercial driving.

A small car or van is required for this position. The vehicle must be insured, and a fuel card will be provided by the company.

Responsibilities

Operate your own insured vehicle (small car or van) to transport goods efficiently and safely to various locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are handled with care and in accordance with safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages encountered during transit. Ensure that your vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and compliant with all safety regulations. Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate the loading of goods and resolve any logistical challenges.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a commercial vehicle is an advantage. Ownership of a small car or van, fully insured and roadworthy, is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail when managing deliveries. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided as necessary.

Pay: 155.78-165.66 per day
