Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated multi drop Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

This is a self employed role.

Responsibilities

Drive a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and compliance with safety regulations. Perform heavy lifting as required, maintaining physical fitness for the demands of the role. Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and receipts. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Skills

Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role is advantageous. Strong driving skills with a valid driver's licence. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage delivery schedules effectively. A commitment to safety standards and practices while driving and handling goods.
