Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to manage multiple deliveries throughout the day.

Must Have:

previous experience driving long wheel base vans must be 25 and over

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly for transport. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure roadworthiness. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Assist with heavy lifting and handling of goods as required. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during deliveries.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving a long wheel base vehicle is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices. Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various routes efficiently. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial. Capability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
