Overview

I have routes going out of my Depot in Spennymoor in Durham, this is the location in which you will load up at, the routes I have are going to the CA/LA Postcodes. We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members. Duties

Operate a van to deliver goods to various locations efficiently and safely. Load and unload products, ensuring that all items are handled with care. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any necessary paperwork. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safe driving practices is essential. Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. A valid driving licence appropriate for operating a van is required.
