Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations in Gloucestershire , ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage heavy lifting as part of the daily duties.

As part of our team, we will offer you a full-time, permanent position. The position is self-employed. We cover all the costs for the job (van, fuel, insurance, maintenance) you will not be required to invest to work. Location: Gloucester

Duties

Operate delivery vans to transport goods efficiently and safely. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including documentation of any discrepancies. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices is advantageous. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the day. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and customers.

Pay: 131.96-144.26 per day
