We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery driving and a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries to our customers. This role requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to navigate various routes effectively.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are secured for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation, including delivery logs and customer signatures. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Skills

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record is required; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial, including experience with heavy lifting tasks. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with customers and team members effectively. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and adapting to changing circumstances on the road.
