We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to drive safely under varying conditions, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Experience in commercial driving and familiarity with warehouse operations will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Navigate routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery notes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is advantageous. Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems is beneficial. A professional attitude towards safety, punctuality, and customer service.
