The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of products to prevent damage. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading and unloading processes. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Experience in a warehouse environment may be beneficial.
