We are seeking a reliable and professional Self Employed Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Plan efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures Ensure accurate delivery of orders, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type (Cat B) is essential Experience working in warehouse environments or handling heavy loads is advantageous Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members Familiarity with route planning software or GPS devices is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading and unloading processes
This role requires a dedicated individual capable of managing multiple deliveries daily while maintaining high standards of safety and customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Freelance

Pay: 120.00 per day
