We are seeking a reliable and efficient Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to drive , and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Drive delivery vehicles, to transport goods to designated locations. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Load and unload items safely, ensuring that heavy lifting is performed in accordance with safety guidelines. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading of goods for delivery. Adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies while on the road.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
