We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires excellent driving skills, good communication, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading items. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, to deliver goods to clients and customers. Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and minimise delays. Load and unload items, often requiring heavy lifting, ensuring products are secured properly during transit. Communicate clearly with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered. Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including delivery times, mileage, and any incidents or damages. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met. Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company policies during all driving activities.

Skills

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience with commercial driving vehicles . Previous warehouse experience is advantageous, especially involving heavy lifting tasks. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members effectively. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently. Strong organisational skills to plan routes and manage schedules effectively. Good problem-solving abilities to navigate unforeseen issues during deliveries. Pay: 120.00-150.00 per day
