Monkfield Reptile are a well-established market leader in livefood, reptiles and reptile products serving the whole of the UK. We have a large diverse and friendly site in Mepal near Ely and need to strengthen our already strong teams with like-minded individuals who want to grow and develop with our business, we are therefore in need of a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver.

The Role/Opportunity

The role will involve delivering packages to customer businesses around the UK. You don't need to have any multi-drop delivery experience, just a positive, professional and hard-working attitude. A long wheelbase, high roof van will be provided for delivery purposes and experience of driving this type of vehicle is preferred though not essential for the right candidate. As a delivery driver you will represent the business, so a friendly disposition is a must.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Skills & Experience

Applicants must be entitled to drive in the UK and have no more than 3 points on their licence. Capable of lifting packages on to and off vehicles or pallets Able to follow verbal and written instruction. Applicants must have their own transport to get to the place of work and live within a reasonable commute of our offices near Mepal, Ely. Applicants must be reliable and capable of showing initiative, be flexible and able to work unsupervised with very early starts and some late finishes. Good Communication Skills Positive work ethic and attitude

Working Hours

A normal working week would be 4 days a week, between Monday and Friday. There is the possibility/option of additional days as and when required.

Starting pay will be 12.50 p/h increasing to 12.75 p/h after successful completion of the probationary period.
