Job description

We are actively and continuously looking for self-employed delivery drivers to help deliver smiles to Amazon customers in Suffolk, Norfolk and surrounding areas.

Duties

Loading the delivery van from a staging area (no waiting around as all parcels are pre-staged for you before your allocated load out time)
Delivering to residential addresses
Delivering to commercial addresses
Returning vans back to station upon route completion for debrief

Requirements:

Have the right to work in the UK
Hold a current full UK or EU driving licence
Have no more than 6 penalty points on current Driving Licence
Be required to complete and pass a DBS check (cost covered by company)
Be responsible for own transportation to and from the Amazon Depot DIP1, Sproughton Road, Ipswich, IP1 4LR

Provide own safety shoes

Drive a van safely (Be a safe driver on road)

Benefits:

Earning potential between 647.50 - 777.00 per week working 5-6 days/week.

Vans provided are no cost and are kept on-site
Fuel cards provided for every van

2-4 days/week part time

4-6 days/week Full time

Weekend Only Available

Full time are expected to do weekends as well.

Pre-planned daily local routes- Arrive at the station, load van and deliver with smile.
We provide 1 day paid in classroom driver training, 2 days paid Ride Along with an experienced driver to include mandatory safety training on day 1, Further 11 days paid on road training. There is always support at hand when you need it.

Weekly rota (choose your own days a week in advance and honour it)
Constant work available for those that want it and perform
Multi-Drop delivery driver experience preferred but not essential as full training is provided

COVID-19 considerations:

All vans are supplied with hand sanitiser, face masks and anti-bacteria wipes. These can also be found all around the warehouse.
