Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team Tuesday to Saturday. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries.This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of the daily responsibilities. The role requires delivering to major cities across the UK. The driver must be 25 years of age or older due to vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

Drive a van to deliver goods to various locations in a safe and efficient manner. Load and unload items, ensuring that all products are secured for transport. Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle, conducting regular checks and reporting any maintenance issues. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Assist in managing inventory by keeping accurate records of deliveries made. Provide excellent customer service during each delivery, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Hand Balling stock into customer sites

Requirements

Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred. London driving experience would be advantageous. Strong skills in commercial driving, with a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
