Job Overview

We are looking for experienced Multi drop delivery driver, who is very familiar with Harrogate area. Having experience is mandatory for this position, also this is self employed position. We can provide van hire if needed, also own van can be used, fuel cards will be provided if needed.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to the location, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, as well as experience in commercial driving. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Safely drive a van to deliver goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling of items during transport.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working order.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, location, and any discrepancies.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Requirements

- Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is mandatory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30 kg) consistently throughout the day.
- Basic communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
