Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload goods, performing heavy lifting as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional during interactions with clients. Assist in the warehouse when not on deliveries, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential, however not necessary as training is offered. A valid driving licence is required; experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., vans or lorries) is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial, particularly in relation to loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently is essential for this role.
