Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle various tasks associated with delivery operations.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling and organisation of products. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance. Assist in warehouse operations when necessary, including inventory management and heavy lifting tasks. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential. A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record is required; experience with driving is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial, particularly in handling heavy lifting tasks. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members.
