Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to various locations. Ensure all deliveries are made in a timely manner while adhering to traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and storage during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience driving larger vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards is essential. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial, particularly in handling heavy lifting tasks. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members.
