Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Deliver goods to clients and customers across designated routes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with loading and unloading items, which may involve heavy lifting. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine inspections before and after shifts. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during routes. Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery logs and receipts. Follow company policies on safety procedures and driving protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with strong knowledge of commercial driving practices. Valid driver's licence or equivalent, with a clean driving record. Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, demonstrating physical fitness for the role. Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Good organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and meet deadlines. Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; punctuality is essential. A responsible attitude towards safety and vehicle maintenance.
