We are seeking a reliable and dedicated NIGHT Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting fresh produce to various customers, ensuring timely and safe delivery. There will be no need to speak to customers as this is during the night. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively.
Duties
Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly for transport.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Navigate efficiently to deliver items within designated timeframes.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel usage.
Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and heavy lifting.
Experience
Previous experience as a delivery driver is essential.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred.
Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
