Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans and lorries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations. Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting, with attention to safety procedures. Communicate effectively with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and handling any queries professionally. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist in warehouse activities when not on the road, including organising stock and preparing deliveries.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, preferably with commercial driving experience. Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type, such as a Category licence or equivalent. Experience in warehouse operations and heavy lifting is desirable. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes efficiently. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. A clean driving record and the ability to pass any necessary background checks or drug screenings required by the company or legal regulations.

Pay: 30.00-80.00 per day
