Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role involves driving, heavy lifting, and maintaining communication with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations. Early starts 4am - 5am all afternoons off, 5 shifts from Mon to Sat, Sundays off.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. Deliver goods to various locations in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of customer service. Unload items, which may involve heavy lifting and manual handling. Communicate effectively with office staff regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Conduct routine vehicle inspections on an app and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, with a clean driving record. A valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle being operated, 25 years or older Experience in commercial driving or warehouse environments is advantageous. Strong driving skills with the ability to navigate various routes effectively. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading tasks. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
