We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery/Collection Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of their daily tasks. A valid driving licence and experience in commercial driving or as a van driver are essential for this position.

start times are Monday's 7am and Tuesday to Friday 6am also Saturdays is 6am start if required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly for transport. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and any issues encountered during transit. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Assist in the warehouse as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Proven ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. A valid driving licence with a clean driving record is required. Own van and insurances are required. Experience in commercial driving or as a van driver would be beneficial.
