We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction through efficient service. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting as part of your daily tasks.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and delivery notes. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. A valid commercial driving licence is essential for this position. Familiarity with local roads and routes is an advantage. Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently is required. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with customers and team members. Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
