Alliance Disposables is a leading distributor of non-food products to the hotel, leisure and catering sectors throughout the country.

We are expanding our operation and have an opportunity for an exceptionally motivated individual to carry out van driving deliveries from our Plymouth branch.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies. Load and unload items, which may involve heavy lifting, ensuring that all goods are handled with care. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery status. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Valid driving licence with a max 6 points; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
