Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to navigate efficiently through designated routes.

Duties

Operate delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly for transport. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery confirmations and any discrepancies. Assist with heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns during the delivery process.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred, with a valid driver's licence suitable for the vehicle type being operated. Experience in commercial driving is advantageous, along with a good understanding of road safety regulations. Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial, including experience in loading and unloading goods. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the nature of the deliveries. A positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet delivery demands.

Pay: 120.00-180.00 per day
