Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vans to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling and heavy lifting as required. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and any discrepancies. Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes and inventory management. Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving to ensure safety on the road. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements

Valid driving licence with a clean driving record; experience as a van driver is preferred. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members. Previous experience in a delivery driver role or commercial driving is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as part of the loading and unloading process. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial. A proactive attitude towards safety and customer service is essential.
