We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent driving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

Duties

Safely operate a delivery vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly for transport. Deliver packages to designated locations in a timely manner, maintaining high standards of customer service. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Communicate with the warehouse team regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Assist with heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries made, including any discrepancies or customer feedback.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Full training will be provided for right candidates Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is beneficial. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and colleagues. Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during deliveries. A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance with company policies.
