Overview

FULL-TIME, MIN 45 HOURS PER WEEK, 8am - 5pm -

Carters Packaging are seeking a member to join our highly motivated warehouse team to work as a multi drop delivery driver and warehouse operative, including loading, unloading and picking stock.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Full-time Multi-drop delivery driver and warehouse duties Helping to pick your run Loading of vehicle Vehicle checks and continued adherence to all legislation Ensuring all paperwork is appropriately signed, managed and handed in on return to depot. End of day - return to depot, unload of non-deliveries and ensure all paperwork is accounted for. Discuss any issues arisen during your day. Help pick for next day. Clean and refuel vehicle as required You will carry out warehouse duties to assist with picking & loading delivery vehicles. When and where required to help with all / any aspects of Carters Packaging operations. Understand and respect the Company ethos that the customer is King.

Personal Specification

Must be physically fit: some heavy lifting required. In addition to packaging, we distribute bakers' flour - most of which is delivered into bakeries "on the shoulder". This can be strenuous work particularly during peak seasons

Minimum age 21 - due to insurance restrictions

Ability to use Satnav Full UK Driving Licence - Clean see link
Basic DBS check see link
CPC licence preferred C1 licence preferred Excellent customer service skills Ability to work as part of a small team Ability to take responsibility and initiative when working on your own, principally when out driving.

Desirable

Excellent geographical knowledge of the area Some IT Skills Forklift licence or experience of site vehicles Previous experience of multi drop driving.
