Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Multi-Drop Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring timely deliveries. This position requires the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate a van or similar vehicle.

Responsibilities

Safely drive a van or delivery vehicle to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. Load and unload goods, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery times and any potential delays. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations. Conduct routine checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues as necessary. Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. A valid driving licence is required; experience with commercial driving is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some deliveries may involve carrying bulky items. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for managing delivery schedules effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike.
