We are seeking a reliable and professional

self employed

Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety, punctuality, and professionalism.

Working on behalf of DHL, a large global leading logistics company, you will be required to deliver small-med parcels to a number of customers in the WA & WN postcodes.

LWB van, fuel & insurance will be provided

SELF-EMPLOYED BASIS

120 per day paid weekly (2 weeks held in hand) 60-80 drops per day 09:30am start time 7 day a week operation with shift rotations Depot located in WA7

Duties

Safely operate company vehicles, in compliance with all traffic laws and company policies. Deliver goods to customers' premises promptly and efficiently, ensuring all items are handled with care. Load and unload deliveries, often involving lifting, with attention to safety procedures. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon delivery. Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns promptly. Follow health and safety protocols at all times during deliveries.

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record. Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous. Ability to perform lifting when required, maintaining proper lifting techniques for safety. Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members. Good organisational skills to manage routes efficiently and adhere to schedules. Knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations relevant to commercial driving. Flexibility to work varied hours as needed, with a focus on punctuality and reliability. This role is ideal for individuals who are organised, responsible, and committed to delivering excellent service while maintaining safety standards throughout their shift.
