Responsibilities

Safely operate company vehicles, including vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to optimise time and fuel consumption. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and secured properly during transit. Communicate effectively with clients upon delivery, providing excellent customer service. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs. Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock organisation and heavy lifting when required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of commercial driving procedures. Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type, including driver certification if applicable. Experience in warehouse operations or logistics is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Good organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively. A clean driving record and the capacity to pass relevant background checks.
