Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to drive various vehicles, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and lorries, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring that heavy lifting is performed safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any issues encountered during transit. Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous. A valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle being driven is required. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service will be highly valued.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 110.00-115.00 per day

Expected hours: 9 - 27 per week
